Because Death is merely but an end to a set of deep realizations.

Ego Dissolution by Peter Gric from Pinterest

Death do daggers the aware, now and then.
Prying, every day in circadian, absconds painlessly at touch.
Gleaming, camouflaged as realizations. Now, the self peeps through
the cuts of ignorance, unveiling one hollow beige-blue
fruit of shallowness, divided in two, ego and you.

Lest, Forgiveness bleeds as a consequence, parting grant of the “great divide”-
and relieved are burdens, due dark that “enlightens”
as sauntering shade, humming tales of redemption in mute,
To engulf in tenderness, its final booth-
-We die more than once, Of all the truths.

Note: Inspiration for this poetry came from the blossoming practice of empathy and compassion. The dissolution of our prejudices begins with progressing spiritual practice that leads to deeper understandings towards the suffering of all. Its essence transpires deep in our emotional connections reflecting through the elevating power of forgiveness and eventual ego death.
